Timeline

  • October: Strategic Area Review Committees appointed
  • November, December & January: the committees (1) refresh/redefine goals and metrics with new 2-year priorities (FY09 & FY10) completing the half-way point to the end of the original Stretch Goal period, (2) refresh/redefine derivative & additional goals, and (3) report on progress toward the FY06-FY08 priorities.
  • February: Cabinet, Council of Deans and Faculty Council Committee on Strategic & Financial Planning review the committee reports.
  • March & April: open comment period for campus review.
  • May: incorporation of campus input into final product.
  • June: 2-year Progress Report & Update of the University Strategic Plan presented to the Board of Governors.
  • July-November: Colleges refresh their strategic plan. December-February: content area VP’s review college plans. March: College plans updated.
