Principles for Recommendations

The following are the principles that should be used to evaluate the recommendations the subcommittee brings forth:

  • Address the charge
  • Are evidence based -- supported by research and evaluation
  • Are sustainable -- to be institutionalized; sufficient in dose and follow-up
  • Are realistic -- administration is able to support, adequate staffing, involve students; consistently enforce
  • Have an identified, adequate funding source if necessary
  • Are integrated -- campus/community partnership
  • Are adopted by consent of the Task Force members
